You have an extensive branch network and therefore need to send packages frequently back and forth between different production- and sales offices?
With our Intercompany-Service you can optimise the transportation process of intercompany deliveries and save cost: When you send a parcel to a specific branch office, all parcels of that branch office to be returned to you or to be sent to another are picked up and directly forwarded without detours.
This intercompany delivery service helps you with the logistics inside your company, being mainly beneficial in case of parcel dispatches with no critical deadlines as the parcels are picked up only on the occasion of delivering another one which is not the case every day. The service requires a dispatch system.
How the Intercompany-Service works:
- Prepare the goods for your branch office for dispatch. Put the desired quantity of labels for intercompany delivery into the parcel.
- Your branch office takes over the parcel and labels.
- In course of the next delivery the branch office hands over a parcel to the GLS driver which is returned to your own address or, upon request, shipped to another branch adress within Austria.
