Sustainability at GLS
GLS recognizes that we all share the same environment. Therefore climate protection forms an integral part of the GLS logistics strategy. In fact, sustainability is one of our five core values, a driving force put into practice by every single one of our employees every single day.
Think-Green
We launched our Think-Green environmental programme in 2008. While it was always GLS policy to regularly optimise processes and use resources as efficiently as possible, the Think-Green programme now provides the framework and inspiration to coordinate and actively promote many different environmentally-friendly activities throughout our entire group.

Measures
To achieve these targets, a broad range of specific group-wide measures have been defined for:
- vehicles
- transport planning
- buildings
- and further measures
The method we've adopted to achieve these meassures has been verified and our efforts and progress in these target categories are regularly monitored.
