An additional guarantee for valuable parcels
Where the merchandise contained in the parcel requires additional cover to that provided in the general conditions of sale (€23.02 a kilo, with a maximum of €690.60 per parcel), all you need to do is open an ad valorem account with our Insurance service.
The guarantee offers compensation for total loss (but nevertheless limited to the real value* of the merchandise).
* minimum invoicing: €1,000 of turnover
Conditions of application:
For consignments valued under €5,000, a simple valuation declaration faxed to the local parcel office. For consignments of valued above €5,000, a faxed valuation declaration 24 hours before sending and a written agreement of the GLS France Insurance Service are necessary.
