HR Department

A friendly team of professionals at service of all employees all over the country that will help you to go through all the formalities of employment. Later on they will support your professional development in line with company business strategy.

Onboarding

As a new employee you may count on the extended onboarding process that will prepare you for independent work. We have developed multistage trainings for each position that help to get to know the organisation as well as the specific character of work on a given position.

Developement

There are two principal development directions that we offer to our employees:

  • One of them is the possibility of managerial development and promotion within the structure of GLS in Poland or abroad.
  • Another one is the expertise development through broadening knowledge, qualifications and competence on your position.  

 

The development goal set by direct manager during annual evaluation system (SOP) together with possibility to participate in national or international projects play an important role in supporting employee's development.

 

The employee development process is supported also by the following development programmes:

  • GLS Academy that contains of development plans and trainings based on long-term projects, tailored made to  specific groups of employees in line with the strategy of the company.
  • High Potentials is addressed to persons of high professional who particularly influence or may influence increase  of company value in future. The participants of the programme may take advantage of individual forms of professional development such as courses, trainings, participation in conferences or project groups.

 

Work Evaluation System

Our Work Evaluation System (SOP) enables to evaluate work in objective and fair way. . The employees are evaluated in line with equal and standardised principles, Each employee, regardless  the position  and place of work, is treated in the same way. The system of periodic evaluation enables the employees to learn what attitude, behaviour and actions are desired by the Company.

Evaluation systems also gives possibility for employees and managers exchange views and expectations. By setting tasks and goals which are verified later on,  each employee gets  information about her or his achievements. At the same time, the superiors may, on the basis of an objective criteria, select the most talented employees and invite them to join the development programmes.

 

Direct communication

In GLS Poland we adhere to the principle of direct communication which leads to common understanding. . We are convinced that good relations among employees influence effective work, therefore we care for integration of both regional teams as well as general integration in the whole country. Therefore, we organise informal meetings and trips. The football fans may participate in the company football competitions

 

Work with modern tools and technologies

We continuously search for the ways to improve not only the quality of our services but also the work of the whole team. Therefore we use  modern technologies and implement new solutions, supervised by employees of relevant  departments.
