Practise for students
Practise is the best opportunity to get familiar with character of work on a given position and to gain new professional experience. Be it the first steps on the professional ground or extension of the skills acquired, the training programme with GLS aims at bringing advantages to each student.
This is an ideal moment to begin a successful professional career in the area of transportation, forwarding and logistics.
To whom the training programme is addressed
The programme of professional training is dedicated to the best students and graduates with the specialisation in Transportation or Logistics.
An ideal candidate is a person:
- that is open and communicative,
- that is willing to take up challenges,
- that is willing to gain knowledge and experience,
- that is able to work in a team,
- that possesses analytical thinking skills,
- that has a good command of English.
Duration of training
Training is planned for the period of 4 weeks. It may be conducted at any time agreed upon with the student.
Place of traning
Training is conducted at any branch of the company all over Poland. One can choose from among the following locations:
Recruitment process
- Sending an application form by the student / graduate
- Analysis of information on the application form
- Meeting the selected candidates
- Individual invitation to the training
Training plan
The training programme is realised in accordance with the Training Plan established by the company and it covers the issues related with the organisation and functioning of the company. The student is able to learn the specific character of work in the operations department and gets to know the processes that take place in the transport company.
There is a supervisor responsible for student’s training in each of our depot.
