Yes, the maximum weight allowed for domestic parcels is 31,5 kg and for parcels addressed to European Union - 50 kg.
Is there a maximum size for Parcel Shop or Parcel Van parcels?
The girth (circumference of the parcel plus longest side) must not exceed 3 m, and the following size and weight restrictions apply: a maximum length of 2 m, a maximum height of 0.6 m and a maximum width of 0.8 m.
Why does the price of ParcelShop and Parcel Van parcels depend on the size and not on the weight of the parcel?
The price calculation by the parcel size is easy and transparent. The customer can identify the price easily and does not need a scale.

Within which time period will the parcels arrive at the consignee?
Parcels within Poland will be delivered in a standard delivery time of less than 24 hours. Parcels within the European Union will reach their destination in a standard delivery time of 24-96 hours.
Does the transport tariff include an insurance?
Yes, each parcel is insured up to maximal 1.000 PLN.
Is it correct that I can track the way of my parcel via internet?
Yes, it is very easy. Just enter the parcel number on your receipt into our online track and trace and you can track the complete route of your parcel to the recipient.
Is it possible to send an express or Cash-Service parcel via Parcel Shops or Parcel Van?
No, the dispatch of express or Cash-Service parcels isn’t possible via GLS Parcel Shops and Parcel Van.
What happens, if the consignee isn’t at home?
If the consignee is not at home and the parcel cannot be delivered at the neighbour the parcel will be delivered at the nearest GLS Parcel Shop. The consignee gets a notification card about the attempted delivery. If the parcel has been delivered at the GLS Parcel Shop, the consignee has the possibility to pick up his parcel in the GLS ParcelShop within 10 working days by presenting the notification card and his identity card.
What do I have to consider while packing and labelling my Parcel Shop or Parcel Van parcel?
