Sustainability at GLS
GLS recognizes that we all share the same environment. That’s why we’ve made climate protection an integral part of the GLS logistics strategy. In fact, sustainability is one of our five core values, a driving force put into practice by every single one of our employees every single day.
ThinkGreen
We launched our ThinkGreen environmental program in 2008. While it has always been GLS policy to regularly optimize processes and use resources as efficiently as possible, the ThinkGreen program now provides the framework and inspiration to coordinate and actively promote many different environmentally-friendly activities throughout our entire group.

Measures
To achieve these targets, a broad range of specific group-wide measures have been defined for:
- buildings
- vehicles
- transport planning
- and other commercial activities
The method we've adopted to achieve these measures has been verified and our efforts and progress in these categories are regularly monitored.
